Dear diary,
Today in class, our teacher taught us about the evolution of dinosaurs. It was really interesting! We learned that dinosaurs started out as small creatures and gradually evolved into the big, fierce creatures we know today.
In the beginning, there were little dinosaurs that were only about the size of a chicken. They were called theropods. As time went on, some dinosaurs started to grow bigger and stronger. The sauropods were the biggest of them all! They were so big that they could reach up and pluck leaves off the tops of trees.
I think it's amazing how dinosaurs changed over time. It makes me wonder what other animals might be evolving right now! I can't wait to learn more about it tomorrow.
